Poem from Pumpkin Spice

A.piece from my seventh book, Pumpkin Spice:

I met him in my 20s

And he understood my self esteem issues

He seen through the lipstick mask I tried to wear

Trying to hide the hurt from the light of the sun

He was brown, dark brown

Not too tall of a glass

With an icy mixture

Smooth crown royal

Gave me knowledge

And I took it home and wrapped my hair with it

Like a head wrap

He was Mahogany rum

Shared a copper wisdom

That mind sexed me until

I couldn't cum out to the clubs

Anymore

After I turned the age of thirty

Peaceful Words

I can read between metaphors using metaphors to read it while I write it A gift which brings peace Or a piece of understanding Or again, peace from knowledge From experience From wisdom From freedom..

Stitches of my heart

Stitches of my Heart Do you know how to sow If a woman can do a quick weave I don't see why not Or a surgeon getting ready for operation Or a woman who just had a c- section Hey, snitches get stitches
